So today was one of those lazy days that I just ran around town running errands and watching the sunset, so of course I dressed for comfort yet still kept the cute factor in the outfit as well.

Today I wore:
  • A blue long sleeved polo from Lilly Pulitzer
  • Khaki shorts from J. Crew
  • And my old-faithful, beat-up Sperry Topsiders
This is one of my everyday wear and tear outfits. I prefer the rolled up sleeve for the shirt due to obvious summer reasons. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail with this, just because when I'm busy out and about I don't want to worry about my hair. This is a very basic and low maintenance outfit for day to day wear.

The outfit for today will make you shine as bright at the sun!

Today I wore:
  • A bright yellow cotton top from Ann Taylor Loft
  • A supreme blue color short also from Ann Taylor Loft
  • And to tie the two pieces together I found a thread wrapped headband from J. Crew

This type of outfit is really just an overall "I can do anything" outfit. I went ahead and tucked the shirt in since the shorts are a bit large on me, but it looks great both tucked in and out! You can wear something like this to the mall, lunch, or a night out with friends (which is what I did).
As for jewelry and accessories, I went with the headband because it really just brings all the colors together and adds a little pop on top! If you are not fond of headbands, J. Crew also sells the same pattern in a belt. And as far as shoes go, I went for a white sandal since the rest of me was so bright.

We all know flashy brights are in this season so wear them up!

So this is the very first post of this blog, how exciting!! I can't wait to have a solid foundation of fashion here that could fill a closet fit for Carrie Bradshaw herself.
And as this being my first outfit on here I feel it should be something extra special, so here is a little taste of what is to come!

Today I wore:

  •  A sheer top from a little boutique I found in Fort Myers called Forema
  • Some very stylish and extremely comfortable linen capris I found for sale at Old Navy
  • And to dress up the outfit I added my signature white wedges
Something like this could be worn when applying for jobs or going out for a weekend dinner.
It is very easy to accessorize, I personally went for a pearl necklace and bracelet. But anything world really do. If your going to wear your hair down for this I would say you don't even need to wear jewelry if you don't feel like it. However if you're going to wear you're hair up for this (which if you do I would suggest a sleek pulled back style since the outfit is already loose) I would wear some sort of larger earring.

But ALWAYS remember, nothing compliments an outfit like a smile on your face!
